CROP PRODUCTION SYSTEM is designed to equip students with basic knowledge and skills on production and management of crops such as rice, maize, sweet potatoes, tapioca and coconut in meeting national food supply. Students will learn the standard operating procedures, harvesting and post-harvest handling of crops production. Students are also exposed to method improvement program and commercialisation of the crops.
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
- CLO1 : apply good management practices for national crop production ( C3 , PLO 1 )
- CLO2 : organise standard operating procedure (SOP) of harvesting and post-harvest handaling in crop production system( P4 , PLO 2 )
- CLO3 : display good work ethics with responsibility and independently towards the improvement of crop production system program ( A3 , PLO 4 )
- CLO4 : demonstrate entrepreneurial skills, self motivation in commercialisation of crops products.( A3 , PLO 8 )
