DBM30193 ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS exposes students to statistical and probability concepts and their applications in interpreting data. The course also introduces the numerical methods concept to solve simultaneous equations by using the Gaussian Elimination method, LU Decomposition using Dolittle and Crout methods, polynomial problems using Simple Fixed Point Iteration methods and Newton Raphson method. In addition, the course also discusses the Ordinary Differentiation Equation (ODE). To strengthen the students in solving engineering problems, Laplace transform by using the Table of Laplace is also included. It is designed to build students' teamwork and problem-solving skill.
