DYA40372 BUSINESS IN AGRICULTURE

Business in Agriculture focuses on the key concepts of entrepreneurship in agricultural business. The course combines the concepts of agriculture entrepreneurship and business agriculture management. Students will be guided on ways to conduct an agricultural business from business idea into a small start-up. At the end of the course, they are expected to gain sufficient knowledge to be agriculture entrepreneurs or agriculture managers.

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: 

1. Apply the relevent concept in developing agricultural business ( C3 , PLO 1 )

2. Construct business idea using appropriate tools on selected agricultural product/service for start-up business ( C3 , PLO 3 )

3. Propose a business proposition on selected agricultural business for obtaining business funding ( A3 , PLO 7 )
